Great location and comfy bed, but no Wi-Fi in my room. Frustrating!

Delicious breakfast options with a charming European feel. Complimentary hot drinks around the clock made our stay feel cozy. We also loved the beautiful garden views from our balcony and the friendly staff who helped with everything. The location was perfect for exploring Mackinac Island!
The room had a few quirks like stained floors and a mattress that felt a bit too firm for my taste. While the check-in gals were a tad unfriendly, the charm of the gardens and our cozy spot still made it worthwhile.

Charming Island Retreat with Room for Improvement
We enjoyed our stay, particularly the beautiful gardens and friendly reception staff. However, we faced some issues with luggage retrieval and dated room decor. Breakfast offerings were limited, but we appreciated the cozy atmosphere. Pro tip, confirm luggage return details for a smooth ferry departure.

The charming decor reminded me of my grandmother's house, with lovely vintage touches and nice seating areas around the garden that made everything feel welcoming and accessible, especially for seniors like myself.
More attention to breakfast quality would be lovely.

The Harbour View Inn had a charming atmosphere, ideal for my stay on Mackinac Island. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. I loved the location, tucked away from the busy downtown, yet close enough for easy access to shops and restaurants. My room was cozy and nicely decorated, making it feel welcoming. Every morning, I enjoyed a tasty breakfast with a good variety of options. The complimentary coffee and tea available throughout the day were nice touches. However, I encountered a couple of issues. The air conditioning in my room wasn't effective, and one of the windows had a gap, allowing a few bugs to come inside at night. The cleaning staff did a good job, but I noticed the window screens could use some repair. The coffee served during breakfast was quite disappointing. it tasted weak and diluted each morning. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but a few improvements could make it even better.
